Two masked men entered a house at Krishna Nagar area in Tirupur in the early hours of Saturday and decamped with jewels after attacking the inmates.
According to police, two masked men entered the residence of P. Gokulakrishnan and snatched a chain from his wife G. Subbulakshmi. When their son Sanjai resisted and try to unmask them, they attacked him with a knife and escaped in the dark.
On a complaint lodged by Mr. Gokulakrishnan, Tirupur Central Police registered a case. Vehicle checks have been intensified across the city to nab the culprits. Further investigation is on.
