Mall staff sensitised to security aspects

In an effort to sensitise the stakeholders to security and safety, Brookefields shopping mall along with Coimbatore Police organised a session on Safety, security and orderly management of traffic flow.

Stakeholders of Brookefields i.e., the staff and those working in the commercial establishments, were addressed by Assistant Commissioners of Police A. Murugasamy (Crime, Law & Order – Coimbatore West), and Chellam (Traffic), and Inspectors of Police Albert and Partheeban.

The participants, those working in 120-odd retailers of the mall, were told about the need to install surveillance cameras, collecting the particulars of employees and verification of their antecedents.

Parking area

The participants at the meeting were explained on the problems arising out of poor management of parking lot and different types of crimes that may occur in a shop/mall. Police handed over suggestions to the participants on the precautions to be taken to avoid incidents of crime.
