The Hindu In School in association with Only Success conducted a training programme to enable school students from Classes four to Plus Two to learn study and life skills.

A release says that in the first two days the students learnt formulae used by successful people in the world, success principles, linking – a memory technique, a 11-stage study process, drawing picture diagrams to revise faster, techniques to improve reading speed and mind maps.

On the third day, the students were taught exercises on speed reading and visual spelling, a powerful way to remember words with tough spellings.

The fourth day, the trainers trained the students in ‘transformation’, where they gave up negativity and embrace positivity.

This they did it through a series of techniques based on neuro linguistic programme. The trainers also spoke to the parents of the participants on their role and how they could aid the change in their children.

Parents and institutions who want to make use of this programme can write to reach.inschool@
