Innovation award launched

Lapp India, a Germany cable and connection technology company, has launched the Lapp Innovation Award to mark the 10{+t}{+h}anniversary of the Lapp-PSG College of Technology partnership, says a release from the college.

The Award is to recognise outstanding industries that used Lapp cables and associated products and experienced an impact on sales, productivity improvement, energy savings and a positive contribution to the environment. Recently, the two entities renewed their partnership for another 10 years and inaugurated the PSG-Lapp Centre for Excellence in Cable Technology. Andreas Lapp, Chairman of the Board, Lapp Holding AG, and R. Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG College of Technology, were present on the occasion. The platinum company will get Rs. 3 lakh, the gold company Rs. 2 lakh and silver company Rs. 1 lakh.
