Two unidentified men snatched 10 sovereigns of gold chain from a woman near Selanaickenpatti during the early hours of Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred when V. Priyadarshini, a resident of Alagu Nagar, was returning from farmers’ market at Thadagapatti when two motorcycle-borne men snatched her chain and sped away. Priyadarshini registered a complaint with Annadhanapatti police.
Police have collected CCTV visuals from the locality to identify the accused.
