The e-service counters of the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation functioning in all the taluk offices will function on May 17 (Sunday) despite being a holiday.
The e-service counters provide all revenue department related certificates such as income certificate, nativity certificate and community certificates besides applying for various government welfare schemes.
District administration sources said that the decision to keep the counters open
on Sundays was aimed at serving the growing need for various certificates among the students who passed out of
Plus Two and who are seeking admission in various colleges.
