Erode district on Saturday reported 55 new cases of COVID-19, which took the overall tally to 1,32,378. While 167 persons were discharged after treatment, 1,026 persons were under treatment.
In Salem, the daily load of positive cases reduced to 39 on Saturday. According to health officials, 32 cases were indigenous and 18 cases were reported in the Corporation limits.
In Namakkal, 23 cases were reported.
