June 18, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:36 am IST - COIMBATORE:

Over 20 small and medium-scale entrepreneurs participated in a two-day programme here on Tuesday and Wednesday on empowering MSMEs through e-commerce.

Coimbatore District Small Industries Association and TANSTIA-FNF Service Centre conducted the event jointly to train local entrepreneurs in adopting digital, internet-based technologies to grow their business. The participants had a hands-on experience on subjects such as having a professional online presence, marketing their products on the internet and making use of social media to develop their business.

One such training was held in Chennai last month.
