Electoral roll revision process is set to commence on September 1 and will continue for a month until September 30.
The roll revision process envisions door-to-door verification against the electoral roll.
According to an administration release, booth level staff will embark on a voter verification whereby the revisions in names, addresses, inclusion, and deletion of voters’ names will he carried out.
Voters, who turn 18 with January 1, 2019 as the qualifying date may avail the verification process for inclusion of names.
Verification
Households with revisions to be made to the roll, that includes deletion of names in view of death of the voter, change of address, may do so during the verification.
Voters can also use the Voters Helpline App or the NVSP portal, common service centres for inclusion, deletion of names, change of addresses, and other changes.
Voters may also have changes made to the voters’ list at the designated centres, which includes the Sub-Collector’s office, Dharmapuri and the Revenue Divisional Office, Harur.
The draft roll will be released on October 15.
