The public can submit their suggestions and objections to the revised guideline values in Coimbatore district till November 23.

The sub-committee for assessment headed by District Collector M. Karunakaran approved the draft guideline values on Tuesday and the draft will be available on the website of the Registration Department, and at the sub-registrar offices and local bodies for the public to verify the new values.

The department officials started works for revising the guideline values two months ago and in some locations in the district, the values have been revised manifold. The existing values were revised and implemented in 2007. Based on the suggestions and objections received during the next two weeks, the values will be revised again. The revision work will be completed and the values will be finalised by the end of the next month, according to an official of the department.
