The sixth edition of CONFAIR organised by the Coimbatore Civil Engineers Association (COCENA) began at the CODISSIA Trade Fair complex here on Friday.
The CONFAIR – 2018, one stop shop for entire construction industry was inaugurated by chairman of the CII Coimbatore zone M. Ramesh.
R. Karthic, president of COCENA, and other office-bearers were present.
Mr. Ramesh said that this time, the COCENA has given impetus for green concept in construction industry during this fair.
Those who were constructing new houses or planning to go for a new construction will get abundant information and ideas on interior, exterior works.
Over 300 companies with innovative products for the construction industry, new machineries, landscaping, interior and exterior decorations from low end to high end were available at one place.
A free consultation on construction would be given from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m every day at the venue. Senior civil engineers will be available for consultation.
Technical conference has been arranged from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
COCENA stall was inaugurated by Sanna. Ratnavel, member, board of governors, Engineering Council of India (ECI), and the gallery was opened by Rajesh B. Lund, president of CREDAI.
