Members of the All India Students Federation (AISF) demanded the Central Government to constitute the Cauvery Management Board.

Staging a demonstration in front of the Coimbatore Railway Junction on Saturday, the members also urged the Centre

to give up hydrocarbon exploration project, waive off agriculture loan and meet the demands of the farmers who were staging protest in New Delhi for over a month now.

One of the protesters imitated a dead body. The Police later removed the protesters from the spot.
