Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan on Monday inspected the conservancy work at Devapuram, Selvanayagi Nagar and a few other localities in Ward 47.
A release from the civic body said that he visited several houses to check if mosquito control work by way of reducing breeding source was being carried out effectively. He also checked the quantity of water supplied to the residents, the chlorine content in water, the release also said and added he pasted ‘mosquito-free house’ stickers on houses that were free of breeding sources.
