Nine persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Coimbatore district on Monday.
Five persons recovered and the total number of active cases was 62, according to the Health Department. The test positivity rate on Sunday was 1.8 %, when 10 tested positive for the infection.
Tiruppur reported three new cases. One person was discharged and the total number of active cases was eight. The TPR on Sunday was 1.3 %, when one tested positive.
