Nine persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the district on Tuesday. Eight persons were recovered and the total number of active cases was 63, according to the Health Department. The test positivity rate (TPR) on Monday was 1.8 % when nine tested positive for the infection.
Tiruppur reported three new cases. One was discharged and the total number of active cases was 10. The TPR on Monday was 1.4 % when three tested positive.
