One person tested positive for COVID-19 in Coimbatore district on Thursday. One person was discharged and the total number of active cases was seven, according to the Health Department. The district had a test positivity rate (TPR) of 0.0 % on Wednesday when none tested positive. Tiruppur did not see any new cases on Thursday.
