Chamber Show is back in the city and the 10{+t}{+h}edition of the event has several new products and services on display.

Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, has organised the three-day event at Sri Ramakrishna Kalyana Mandapam from Friday.

Coconut blossom sugar, home made food items, furniture, generators, software solutions, computers, textile items, two and four wheelers, packed food products, jewellery, solar panels and areca leaf plates are some of the products exhibited. Several educational institutions, property developers and financial service providers have also participated in the event. There are also details of home gardens and waste management systems.

About 40 per cent customers are those who have participated in the earlier editions of the event, says chamber president D. Nandakumar. This is the time for college admissions and hence several educational institutions have taken part, he adds.

The Chamber has organised food festivals and special programmes on all the three days.

It plans to organise the exhibition once in two years. The objective of the event is to give a boost to local businesses and to showcase the products and services offered here. Several participants have discounts and special offers for customers who make purchases at the expo.
