Jahnvi Motor Private Limited, which has sold about 300 Audi cars in the State (except Chennai) in 2014, launched Audi A3 Cabriolet here on Wednesday.
According to its managing director C.R. Anandakrishnan, about 650 Audi vehicles have been sold here from 2012. The average price of these cars sold is Rs. 35 lakh to Rs. 40 lakh.
The Audi A3 Cabriolet was launched in New Delhi last month.
The compact luxury convertible has five options and is priced (on road) between Rs. 54 lakh and Rs. 60 lakh. At the national level, Audi India registered sale of 10,002 units in 2013 and 10,126 units in the financial year 2013-2014.
The compact luxury segment is one of the fastest growing segments in the luxury car industry.
