State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) K. Balakrishnan said that AIADMK-BJP alliance will not win and they have not even been able to figure out a name for the alliance.

Addressing at a public meeting here on Monday, Mr. Balakrishnan said, “Amit Shah says it is BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, O. Paneerselvam says it is AIADMK-led alliance.”

Mr. Balakrishnan said that in 2014, Narendra Modi won the elections due to lack of unity amongst opposition.

Mr. Balakrishnan said that there is anti-Modi wave across the country. He added that no new political party has formed alliance with BJP in any other part of the country except in Tamil Nadu.

Criticising the State Government in Pollachi sexual abuse case, he said that the Government did not protect the interests of women in the case. He also condemned Superintendent of Police for Coimbatore R. Pandiarajan on the handling of the case.
