Over Rs. 11.50 cr for development in rly stations in Coimbatore

Southern Railway has taken up infrastructural developmental works of about Rs. 11.60 crore in three major railway stations in connection with the World Classical Tamil Conference starting here from June 23.

It was proposed to spend about Rs. 6.25 crore for developmental works at Coimbatore Junction, Rs. 3.21 crore at Podanur Junction and Rs. 2.18 crore for Coimbatore North Railway station, railway sources said.
