Detection of an ice-cream ball, filled with gunpowder, in front of the house of an industrialist here created some anxious moments on Sunday.
As police received information about the object lying in front of the house, a team from Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad rushed to the spot, with all precaution, police sources said.
When the cover of the ball was removed, the squad found it filled with gun powder, generally used for crackers and took away for testing, the sources said.
Police suspect that some miscreants might have placed it only to scare the industrialist, since it did not have any fuse-fire to cause an explosion, the sources said.
