Coimbatore: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (Coimbatore) has announced the launch of one second pulse special tariff voucher “Vinadi” for BSNL mobile customers. The voucher costing Rs. 45 would be valid for 30 days and local calls to any network would be charged at one paise per second and STD call to any other network would be two paise per second. Vinadi is applicable to Tamil Nadu Anant, New Tamil Nadu Anant, Saral Anant, Old Anant, new Anant, Kurinji, Wonder, Wonder Plus and General prepaid mobile customers only.
BSNL has also announced the waiver of installation charges of Rs. 500 for all landline and WLL connections.
Exchange Transfer
Telephone numbers presently working in the areas of Aranmanaipudur, Dharapuram Road, Kurinchi Nagar, Nadupangu Thottam of Veerapandi telephone exchange will be transferred to the new telephone exchange in Sheriff Colony on October 21 between 00.00 hours and 03.00 hours.
There will not be any change in telephone numbers. The customers of these areas having STD/ISD with “Dynamic locking facility” are requested to re-register their password on October 21 after 03.00 hours. Service is likely to be interrupted for a short duration during the transfer. For assistance if any, customers are requested to contact BSNL officers over phone numbers 0421-2210717, 94861-05013 and 94861-06541.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is organising road shows at the following places; On October 21 at Pollachi Bus stand near Ramanujam Hospital, Malumichampatti, Chellandiamman Temple, Sanganoor near Sub-Registrar’s office, Hope College Signal, Mettuppalayam bus stand and Karadivavi. On October 22 at Lawley Road Junction, Mettuppalayam near State Bank, near GCT, Sai Baba Colony, Velandipalayam, Udumalpet and Kethanur. On October 23 at Kinathukkadavu near Nokia Dot.Com, Justin Mobile-Madukkarai, Tatabad near GP Hsopital, Agri University – Lawley Road Junction, Avanashi Near Old Bus stand, Peelamedu near Boomerang-Chandra Hyundai show room, On October 24 at Ram Nagar Patel Road, Karamadai, near Bus Stand, Chinna Thadagam, Annur, near IOB Vadavalli and Navavur Pirivu. Special features of the road show would be sale of new mobile SIMs, booking of BSNL landline/WLL with waiver of installation charges Rs 500, 2 Mbps broadband at Rs 99 per month onwards with waiver of installation charges Rs 250, CDMA WLL prepaid, Free EPABX, Centrex, EVDO data card and other services on demand.
