4-year-old boy found dead

A four-year-old boy Eron, studying in LKG, was found lying dead in a ground level water sump at his residence on Wednesday.

It is learnt that the boy's father Noor Binvera (32), running a cellular shop, had gone out and his mother Anu had gone to a shop. The boy went missing, when they returned home.

Later, the boy was found lying dead in the ground level water sump at their house in Perumal Nagar in Kavundampalayam.

Businessman held

Special teams of the Coimbatore City Crime Branch with the help of the sleuths of Immigration Wing at Chennai Airport nabbed a businessman Raghunath of Peelamedu, when he was about to take an early morning flight to Singapore.

The Coimbatore CCB was on the look out for Raghunath as he had reportedly cheated a bank by availing a loan of Rs. 1 crore using fake documents. Investigations are on.
