Thirteen people tested positive for COVID-19 in Coimbatore district on Wednesday.
Eight persons recovered and the total number of active cases was 68, according to the Health Department. The test positivity rate (TPR) on Tuesday was 1.9% when nine tested positive for the infection.
Tiruppur reported one new COVID-19 case. No one was discharged and the total number of active cases was 11. The TPR on Tuesday was 1.8 % when three tested positive.
