Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who made a successful comeback to showbiz through ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati' in 2000, is back on the quiz reality show.

The mega star has replaced Shah Rukh Khan, who hosted the third season, for the fourth season of the show, which will now be telecast on Sony TV.

The 67-year-old said it is a great honour and pleasure to be associated with the show once again.

The format of KBC is known to everyone, he said.

Words like ‘Computerji' and ‘Lock Kiya Jaye' became part of daily life and helped Mr. Bachchan to re-launch his career in Bollywood. The actor also hosted the second season of the show on Star Plus but when he fell ill in 2006, the channel decided to move ahead with Shah Rukh. -- PTI
