• Dr Yeola explains how to consume it on the daily*:
  • 1. Take it in either powder or juice form. “Consume 10-15 ml (one large tbsp) juice every morning on an empty stomach or a flat tsp along with 1 tsp ghee or ½ cup milk, or plain water if you’re vegan.”
  • 2. This is a preventative herb to preserve intelligence and memory. “If you want to utilise this as a brain tonic, you have to take it for one or two years without break.
  • 3. The herb on its own isn’t a magic pill — there is a code of conduct, part of acharya rasayana in Ayurveda, which helps it function better.” This means speaking truthfully, being respectful, following circadian rhythms, not bingeing or eating an excessively spicy or tamasic diet.
