SAPTHAGIRI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Dasarahalli

The Hangout: Leisure Plaza

The Location: In front of the canteen in a beautifully landscaped area

Rush Hour: During the recess hours

What's to love: For starters, the youngsters don't think any other college has a hangout with a name that sounds as cool as ‘Leisure Plaza' so this is quite automatically the place to chill on campus.

The location is yet another thing to love about this place. It's a good distance away from the academic block, nestled amidst nature. Most students come here to just relax and unwind, especially at the end of the day.

However, during the day, the youngsters frequent this place to meet friends, chat and sometimes even hold meetings.

Unlike most other hangouts, there's always room for everyone here. The early birds find solace here; the bookworms know just where to find a quiet spot to devour their novels and the last-minute crammers congregate here before every exam.

Since the canteen is situated just in front of this area, students find it convenient to find a spot here to sit and eat. Apparently, this hangout is always clean so that's another reason why people prefer this zone to any other.

What's not to: Students think this would be the perfect Leisure Plaza if this hangout housed a sports recreation centre as well.

Alternative: The darshini opposite the main gate, especially when canteen food begins to bore these kids.
