Voila Cuisne and Events at Road no. 1 Banjara hills is designed on the theme of happiness, perfect to beat the Monday blues. The foos ball table in the lobby serves as a stress buster and when none seems to be stressed, it doubles up as a reception desk.
The choice of colours in the office of the event management company are bright and yet manages to stay away from coming across as a trivial place to work. The cement grey floor strikes a balance with the colourful elements bringing out the colour pop effect in reality. Designed by Vijay Amritraj, the CEO along with architect Ameet Mirpuri, it has quirky additions and design elements that Vijay is proud to take credit for.
A small cosy corner with an installation of an old telephone isn’t just cute and quaint, but also connects with the present day levels of technology with twitter birds perched on images of telephone wires drawn from the pole. The closed cubicles are amply furnished but not cluttered.
The entire office space comes across a free open space “just like the mind. We are in the business of entertainment so, we cannot get compartmentalised. The colours are used to break the norm of offices being grey and dull,” says Vijay Amritraj.
Each and every cubicle has a theme; one has a replica of Mario Miranda’s painting of a party scene which sets the mood of their profession. On the painting, you spot a sign of ‘Jogan and the jolly boys,’ subtly reflecting the bonhomie of the friends turned business partners.
