Apna Sallu bhai will be maha thrilled. A new café in Banjara Hills pays tribute to the Khan in quite a colourful way. Bhai Ki Chai launched by the up-and-coming actor Sahil Taiyebi is a small chai place and shows the actor’s love for Salman Khan. From its name to its logo, Salman’s stamp is all there. “I am a big fan of Salman bhai ,” enthuses Sahil. The youngster, who is passionate about acting dropped out of engineering to pursue his passion.

He also belongs to a business family. “My grandfather and father are the owners of Isaphani tea company, one of the premium flavours of Hyderabad. I wanted to be different and do a business which shows my passion and also my chai interests,” he adds.

The café has a small ambience and is for people who want to grab a cup while on the go. The specialities here are the different flavoured ice teas and the green and black tea, points out Mahboob of the café. “Office-goers come here to have Irani tea. Fitness freaks from the nearby gym drop in to have tea after their exercise,” he adds.

Interestingly all the names of the drinks have a filmi connection. While green tea is called as the Masal chai , No drama is the black tea. Also Osmania buscuit is Chai ka partner , Snack of sultan is samosa and Karan Arjun ki jodi is bun maska . Sahil lives in Mumbai and travels every fortnight to Hyderabad. He has acted in a few commercials and will be seen in a new movie opposite Shakti Kapoor and Poonam Pandey. Sahil observes the response for Bhai Ki Chai has been pretty decent. “I can take my expenses out and survive,” he smiles.

The tagline of Bhai Ki Chai is ‘pk chalo.’ So, next time you want to have tea while you are in a hurry, you know where to go.
