There’s nothing better than ‘out with the old and in with the new.’ But we sure do know exactly how mundane the same names in fashion repeat in our closets. Enter The Pink Post Inc, with their second showcase in the city.

On August 23 at Park Hyatt in Banjara Hills, The Pink Post Inc (TPPI) will be ready to give Hyderabadis’ style discoveries a major boost with the lesser-known but equally stylish names in fashion. Tomorrow, keep a look out for Genes Lecoanet Hemant who’s been making many waves, as well as the more romantic Amore Mio which boasts plenty of flowing silhouettes, ideal for those chilled out rainy days.

TPPI stays true to their plan of action of celebrating newer brands that wish to change the narrative of homegrown Indian design as we know it with innovative and affordable products. And the founders explain there is quite a thorough filtration process for the brands that go through their application system, so to speak.

Sustainability of many types is an ongoing theme at The Pink Post Inc events. “TPPI has always been the frontrunner in supporting local small business which in turn provide employment to many sections in the society. Time and again we have had brands that have sustainable forms of production and processes,” says co-founder Sharnamli Adhar.

Co-founder Mitali Wadhwa adds that diversity is important for them as a fashion aggregator, explaining, “Our ethos has always been to showcase young and affordable brands not just in fashion but across lifestyle. We aspire to make sure that people of all age groups have something to shop for at our events. We also look at accommodating brands from different regions, this way we can ensure that there is something for everyone to shop for at the event.”

That said, she praised the city for its own style signature. “Hyderabadis have a subtle yet super elegant flair for fashion . They love to marry the traditional with the modern and are always very well turned out.”
