Here's how:

Pick your favourite fairy tale.

What are the different ways in which can you adapt it?

Six-word fairy tale

Telling a story in six words is a lot of fun. The story of Cinderella : “Poor girl, beating stepsisters, becomes princess.”

Tweet your tale

The tale can be presented as a series of tweets by the main characters. Here is a sample of the story.

@Cindergirl: I’m so tired of sweeping the kitchen! I wish I could go to the ball.

@Rosieisawesome: Have got a new dress for the ball. I’m rocking this party. #theprinceismine

Press release

“A mysterious girl wearing glass slippers danced with the Prince at last night's Royal Ball. However, for reasons unknown, she vanished at the stroke of midnight, leaving behind no clue to her identity except for a glass slipper. Although shocked by the turn of events, His Highness the Prince, in an emergency meeting late last night, announced that the girl whose foot fits the slipper will become his bride.”

A comic element

Last, but not least, you can even write a funny poem or make a comic strip of the fairy tale of your choice.

To add more spice to it, adapt the tale into the Indian setting.

After all, you’re only limited by your imagination!
