“Every Friday, a new trend is born in Kollywood. In the past, thriller subjects won at the box office. Action and romance followed and did well too. I feel comedy will be the success mantra in the industry in the future,” says director Lara, who earlier helmed the feature film Varmam. Not surprisingly, he’s currently busy with a full-length comedy titled Vindhai, with Mahendran and Manishajith . The other important roles are enacted by Manobala, M. S. Bhaskar, ‘Kadhal’ Saravanan, ‘Scissor’ Manohar and Muthukalai.
Lara says that it will be a laugh riot. “I want to make a film that will be seen by all and stand the test of time. I feel I’ve a winner in my hands.” Music is scored by Williams and the camera is handled by Ratheesh Kanna.
