Friendship is the essence of life. Friendship really matters. You cannot live without friends...... Wondering why I am oozing oodles of feelings? Yes! You have guessed it right.

I am a student who has just finished her class X board exams, and is planning to change school. I have been studying in the same school since LKG ; school has become my second home, and friends— an integral part of my life. "True friendship is like sound health. The value of it is seldom known until it is lost".

Looking back

Now that I am going to lose that friendship, I am feeling the grief of separation. Every class X student who is in the same situation may also feel the same way.

Adding fuel to the fire is that, parents are not able to understand our feelings. They seem to think why do we need to feel so sad, cry and make a big fuss over this, and that this is a stage in life that everyone goes through. So parents, please try to understand our feelings.

Start anew

Forget what you and your parents have done. Everything has changed. So will this part of life too. We are the "NXg". And students, ignore the small, silly fights in school and go on with your friendship. Enjoy every moment of your school life. You will not get it back. Neither will you get all this fun outside school, nor will the time return.
