Vijay TV launches the fiction series 'Kallikaatu Pallikoodam'. The story is based in a village near Theni, and revolves around a school and its students. Set among lush paddy fields and misty mountains, this serial captures the soul of a small sleepy village, with its simple-minded people. Here goes the story. Getting into the reputed Kumaraguruparar School is a dream for most children in and around Madurai and Theni districts, and it's no different for kids in Kariappati. But due to a long-drawn quarrel between the two towns, these kids are banned from studying in that school.
However, the principal does not succumb to social pressures, and decides to admit deserving students, causing bitterness among the students of Kumuaraguruparar School. Can the students from Kariappati cope with the pressure? The series is telecast Monday to Friday at 7.30 p.m.
