I’m flattered that you’re asking for permission first! If you think your studies won’t be affected (remember, you two are students first, boyfriend and girlfriend second) and you’re not going to face a lot of drama at your respective households, then by all means, go ahead. However, if you feel your grades are going to slip, or if you have to go through great lengths to conceal your relationship from your parents (that sort of thing rarely ends well), then maybe you should stick to just being friends?
