“Every Bite, Mega Bite” is a tag line perfectly suited for One MB, the chaat place in T. Nagar. Co-owned by Kollywood actor Jiiva, this vegetarian eatery offers sandwiches, coolers and kulfi apart from authentic chaat.

Variety

We began with the Pav Bhajji, which impressed from the very first bite. The pav was crisp with loads of butter and the bhaji was garnished beautifully. The Chinese Bhel was true to its name — a “speciality”.

The Jalapeno Bites were a bit disappointing as I missed the gooey cheese within. The Corn Augratin, however, was cooked to perfection with oodles of cheese and left us wanting more as did the Corn Sandwich, which was grilled and stuffed with capsicum, potatoes and corn.

But the must-try here is the orange kulfi in which the orange is cut into wedges and served. The taste is just out of this world. Of the thirst quenchers, the ice gola was as enticing as its yummy appearance.

The best part is the nominal price as each dish costs only around Rs. 50. To reassure the hygiene conscious, food is preright before you. The only problem is that the seating arrangements may not be sufficient during peak hours, but the food is worth the wait.

Average cost of meal per person: Rs. 150
