Kate Mara plays the Invisible Woman in the new Fantastic Four movie and is almost as hard to spot in real life. The 32-year-old House of Cards actress says she rarely gets recognised by fans and is hoping things stay that way despite her big blockbuster role.
“There are things you just can’t control when you’re an actress, but I’m lucky because I don’t really experience that kind of thing every day. I sort of go unnoticed, which is lovely,” says Kate.
“I think you just have to not let it control you. But if I do get recognised, it’s House of Cards fans coming up to me and saying, ‘I am so mad you are dead!’ which is always funny to hear when you are walking down the street.”
