Who doesn’t love donuts? And with the city brimming with donut outlets and brands popping up every other month, there is a steady rise in the donut-loving population in Bengaluru. Bringing their array of delicious donuts to the city is the newest donut chain in the block – Donut House. Nestled in the bustling Jayanagar area and soon expanding to other prime locations in the city, the franchise is the latest hub of sweet offerings.

With a whooping choice of three dozen crafted tastes of doughnuts to suit every mood, sweet or spicy, what sets Donut House apart from the rest is that the donuts are the softest you have ever eaten and the varied choices of fillings and toppings are creatively fascinating. What’s more is that Donut House allows you to customise your donut giving the freedom of choice to you. Customers also get to experience the whole process, from preparation of dough to final icing, all in a live kitchen, while you wait for the hot doughnuts.

The original glazed donut with sugar syrup is simply delicious. The softest donuts ever tasted melts in the mouth with every bite. But every visitor must go adventurous and try out any of their three dozen donut options.

An absolute hit in Donut House and heaven for chocolate lovers is the alien donut. A dark chocolate filled donut with milk chocolate flakes and a white chocolate web, the oozing sweet offering is the real winner here.

The real daredevils must try their shot at the spicy donuts – ‘Italian spices’ with shredded cheese and herbs or ‘chilli cheese’ with chilli flakes and cheese. Franchise proprietor Karthik Ganesan says this one-of-a-kind option goes well with the brand’s donuts for all ages tag since most grandparents and parents who accompany their kids to the joint may not like so much sweet. “This not so spicy option gives them an opportunity to share a bite with the rest of the family.”

Among the enormous list of donuts to choose from, these stand out – the ‘berry bambi’ filled with Swiss strawberry and white chocolate topping is a yummy jam mouthful while the ‘custard’ stuffed dark chocolate topped donut is pleasurably delicious. The sweet tooths can opt for any of these amazing choices – ‘oreo dream’ with dark chocolate and oreo cookies topping, milk chocolate donuts that are topped with crunchy white options, the ‘rainbow’ which is white chocolate topped with multi-coloured sprinkes, the ‘choco pop’ with rich dark chocolate topped with crispy choco pops or ‘colourful choco rush’ with dark chocolate topped with gems.

The coffee lovers can try out the aesthetic-tasting ‘Irish coffee’ donut with mocha glazed with chocolate zigzag while fruit fans can try the mango or orange donuts. The options remain endless with a variety of favourites for each customer.

A must try at the joint is the epic ‘donut burger’! You read that right. It’s the first-of-its-kind burger made with glazed donuts, stuffed yummy veg patty and crunchy veggies making it a wholesome sweet-sour meal in itself. Hungry foodies can satiate their appetite with a range of sandwiches as well.

Drink down the yummy donuts with any of the signature beverages – be it the range of hot or cold coffee and tea choices or the variety of milk shakes and crushes.

The signature dish at Donut House and by far, the coolest, is ‘The Alimighty’. The Rs. 100-priced mountain on a plate is a donut of your choice topped with ice cream and whipped cream making it one of the most happening options to dig in for customers.

What sets Donut House apart from other donut chains is that when you enter the cosy outlet, you will not find any donuts on display. Karthik explains why. “We have a simple policy here. We don’t want our customers to take what we have. We want them to ask for what they want and we will make it for them – fresh and on-the-spot. That way, the customer gets the freshest, straight out of the oven donut of his or her choice.”

Any donut is priced at Rs. 60. Try the super saver combos where you can buy a box of six and pay only for five donuts or a box of 12 and pay only for nine donuts. All donuts are eggless.

Donut House is located at Jayanagar III Block. Call 49653579.
