For years, we have been hearing about brides getting themselves pampered by designers for their D-day.

It is now time for the grooms to take centre-stage by getting themselves a designer look and a classy styling for their big day. Keeping this in mind, Amit Behki brings a unique collection for grooms through Creative Stop.

Amit, who works on grooms’ apparel andstyling, started his own brand in 2007 at Pitampura. Creative Stop works only with grooms to give them more attention. He started off when there was no special designer store for grooms.

“I had not planned to start my own brand; it happened by chance. I started working by making garments for customers and then I realised that there is no special store for grooms in India. So I decided to cater only to grooms and started my own brand,” says Amit.

He launched his new collection “The Rajwada Groom” in January. The collection comprises handmade sherwanis with dabka work, and to enhance the rajwada look Amit has added accessories like customised turban, Afghani salwar, juttis and jewel piece to their turbans or sherwani. The collection uses fabrics like silk, velvet, linen silk and crepe.

Not only the dress, he also gives time to the groom to get customised clothes and styling from him on the D-day.

“We give liberty to our grooms so that they can make the right choice. The clothes are suited to their body structure, complexion, partner’s dress, occasion and budget. Then we plan and design accordingly. On the wedding day the groom comes to the studio for the styling,” he says.

Not limited to just grooms’ apparel and wedding dresses, the store has a lot more to offer for other occasions, like Indo-Western, suits, kurta, band gala Jodhpuri, dinner suits with tuxedo. To add class to the look, the store offers a variety of accessories, like unique designs of cuff links, printed and muti-coloured pocket square, bows and more.

They also customise dresses according to the budget of the customers so that everyone can get a unique look.

Amit recently opened one more store at Gurgaon which claims to give a royal experience to customers.
