Latest lines by designers Pavan Anand, Tahera Peeran and Priyamanjari Todi will be unveiled at Collage, Greams Road, today.
Tahera, who has showcased her creations at the Dubai and Colombo fashion weeks, comes to the city with 'Chasing the Rabbit', a collection of eclectic clothing. Modern in design, and audacious in spirit, her clothes reflect her love for luxurious fabrics. Adept at traditional techniques such as quilt art, batik and hand dyeing, the ex-NIFT-ian plans to collaborate with artisans for her upcoming collections.
Away from Tahera's quirky sensibility is jewellery designer Pavan Anand, whose USP is classic-meets-contemporary. His latest line for Dagmar is intricately worked and colourful. Beautiful earrings, bracelets and finer rings form part of the line.
Kolkata-based Priyamanjari Todi gets adventurous with her line of jewellery 'Joolz Creations'. She combines wood, metal and stones to come up with a collection that will appeal to youngsters.
