Colours, culture and celebration came together at the recent The Hindu Holi Festival At Chennai presented by Jain Housing at MGM Beach Resorts.

The event saw Chennaiites flocking the place with enthusiasm to celebrate Holi in style. The guests were greeted with the traditional dhol and colours at the entrance. They danced to the mixes of DJs Akbar Sami and Kunal Bajaj, on a large rain dance floor. Organic colours, water balloons and pichkaris filled the place as people of all ages and culture came together for celebration. The colour filled water tubs and bouncy castles kept the children busy. Stopping only for a buffet lunch served at the venue, the crowd danced through the day.

Adithya Mohan, one of the guests, said “I did not expect this amazing an event when I signed for it. The organic colours were a thoughtful element.”

Another guest, Hope Natrick from North Carolina, said, “The rain dance floor and the music were wonderful. The hygiene and security was good too; it was an amazing experience. I’m happy I got the opportunity to celebrate such a colourful Indian festival during my stay here in Chennai.”

The title sponsor for the event was Jain Housing Construction; gift partners — Lookbook and Senza Spa; radio partner — Big FM; SMS partner — Technozone; beverage partner — Kingfisher; and experience partner — Beep Experience Management.
