Sri Rama Navami festival

Kaettavarampalayam Srirama Bhajanai Mandiram is conducting its 107 Srirama Navami festival with usual gaiety and fanfare. The 10-day affair begins on April 19 and concludes on Mpril 28 with Sri Anjaneya utsavam. Ekadasi akhanda bhajan on April 22, Sita Kalyanam on April 26 and Sri Rama Pattabishekam on April 27 are the highlights. Veda Parayanam, Laksharchanai and anna danam are daily features.

Kaettavarampalayam is in Tiruvannamalai district, 18 km from Polur. The Javvadu and Parvata Malai provide a scenic backdrop to the village.
