Jewellery in this part of the country is synonymous with gold. But, move on, says a recently launched campaign at one of the jewellery stores in the city. In a bid to increase the popularity and affinity of diamonds among customers, Kirtilals has come up with a ‘Take-5’ campaign that stocks smart offers for shoppers.

Says Gopalakrishnan, Store Manager: “Gold has always dominated jewellery market with discounts and offers and diamond has always been viewed a pick of the rich. But a recent research by our company’s R&D revealed that by 2020, all investments will move from gold to diamond. Already, there is a visible shift towards platinum. This is the first time diamonds are being sold on offers.”

The campaign launched across all the 10 stores of the brand presents five options for easy buying. Apart from a discount of Rs.3,000 per carat on diamond and Rs.125 per gram on gold, shoppers can also avail up to six instalments for payment.

People buying jewellery for Rs.50,000 will be given a questionnaire. Customers must answer those questions and also come up with a catchy slogan on the topic given. The entries will be assessed by a gazetted officer and selected winner will be presented with a diamond ring or a Honda City I-Vtec VMT car. The Take-5 campaign will go on till February 29, 2012 at the Kirtilals Showroom on Nethaji Road. For further details, call: 0452-2347511.
