Action time
After some dilly-dallying, Kareena-Saif's “Agent Vinod” is finally on track, and without any ‘speculated' cuts in the budget. We hear that a bungalow in Mumbai's suburbs, also used in Saif's previous projects “Omkara” and “Parineeta”, was booked for the first shot (which, by the way, had Saif doing some high jumps and rolling down the staircase minus wires.) On their part, the Saifeena duo is just glad that the action-packed thriller has finally taken off, and will be shot in Morocco, Amsterdam and Pakistan.
Ever changing
Kangna Ranaut may not have had much to do in “Kites”, but the forthcoming “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai” has her playing a bold and bohemian Bollywood actor of the 1970s called Rehana, and she is super excited about it. Kangna plays the love interest of Mumbai underworld don played by Ajay Devgn, and has reportedly worked on her look to get the perfect Seventies' feel. Director Milan Luthria is all praise, saying: “Kangna has a great body and her face is chameleon-like.”
Starry airs already?
Is Prateik Babbar growing too big for his boots? The youngster, more popular as the late Smita Patil's son, had a cameo as Genelia's brother in “Jaane Tu Ya…Jaane Na”, and immediately bagged Kiran Rao's “Dhobi Ghat”. To get an Aamir Khan film is no mean task, but apparently, the young lad has let it go to his head. First, we heard that Aamir had to reprimand him for reporting late on the sets and making the unit wait during some vital shoot, and now it appears that he has even refused to meet Nagesh Kukunoor for a story narration. That's some nice behaviour; refusing a film even before hearing it out, that too a Nagesh film!
