Call for an encore

Now that Shah Rukh Khan is getting into round three of his TV stint (the first two being “Kaun Banega Crorepati” and “Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain?”), he is making sure that this one turns out to be better. SRK has not had a hugely successful TV series but with “Zor Ka Jhatka” on Imagine, he is trying to break that jinx. A mix of little known and slightly popular TV faces is part of his extreme gaming show. Good luck Mr. Khan!

No paisa vasool

News is trickling in that Shilpa Shetty's spa venture in Mumbai is not going steady. In fact, with the bottomline being in the red, one of the outlets has downed shutters. The main branch is also rumoured to follow suit. This, after her Rajasthan Royals team was engaged in a legal turmoil.

In lighter vein

Akshay Kumar knows he has goofed up with his choice of films, what with a spate of flops. What better way to admit his folly than to become one with his critics?

At a recent awards' show, Khiladi Kumar took a dig at his own “Action Replayy” by asking the audience to observe a minute of silence in fond memory of the super flop.

A bright spot, however, is that he might just return to the small screen as host of “Khatron Ke Khiladi Season four” after Priyanka Chopra failed to raise TRPs.
