Having his way

When you are Salman Khan, you can get away with anything! Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who recently signed on Salman opposite Sonakshi Sinha for “Kick”, learnt this the hard way. Sajid and Salman were friends till a disastrous “Jaan-e-Mann” drew them apart. After that, Sajid worked on various super hits with Akshay Kumar, even while patching up with Salman. That he didn't consider Salman for any of Akshay's roles angered the hero and when Sajid came knocking for “Kick” after the super success of “Wanted” and “Dabbang”, Sallu reportedly charged Rs. five crore over his fee. His wish has been granted too, we hear.

Action packed offer

Shahid Kapur has an offer for an action film but the romantic hero, who would normally jump at the chance to perform something different, is giving this one a good thought before signing on the dotted line. Why? The offer comes from Anthony D'Souza, the man who gave us the film called “Blue”, which also gave Bollywood and Akshay Kumar the blues.

Politically motivated

Akshay Kumar was in Canada this week with dual campaigns at hand. One, for his movie “Thank You”, and the other for prime minster Stephen Harper. Akshay's film premiere in Canada was graced by Harper and his wife and the latter even danced to Bollywood music. The South Asian votes could definitely be Harper's but Akshay's movie has not gone down too well with the audience.
