A good diet can give you healthy hair.

A good diet can give you healthy hair.

In winter, heat and energy get accumulated in the body. Thankfully, our digestion power increases, and even heavy food is easily digested. Which is good news for the hair — rich food, richer hair. Here are a few food stuff that can be included in the diet.

*Among cereals, go for wheat, barley, maize, etc

*Black gram, green lentil, soyabean are best among pulses

*Carrot, spinach, tomato, green coriander, fenugreek, onion, radish, cauliflower, beetroot, brinjal and garlic come loaded with goodness for hair

*Milk, fresh curd, lassi, sweet cream, and pure ghee are must-haves

*Egg, fish, chicken, liver of goat, and oil of sea fish are rich sources of Vitamin A

*Orange, grapes, papaya, banana, apple, pineapple, guava and amla aid in rapid hair growth

A vitamin-rich diet is imperative for healthy hair growth — deficiency of Vitamin A causes hair dryness and dullness, while Vitamin B lends lustre and volume to hair. So eat good, and watch your hair make heads turn!
