Golden milk, something that is traditional is now known as turmeric latte in the States.
It is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties and is used to relieve swelling and pain due to headaches.
Its also called ‘natural aspirin’ in Ayurvedic medicine.
Ingredients
Coconut milk – 500 ml
Turmeric powder – 5 gms
Cardamom powder – 2.5 gms
Black Pepper powder – 0.5 gms
Cinnamon powder – 2.5 gms
Honey – 5 gms
Method
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Pour into a saucepan and heat gently for three to five minutes. Serve and drink immediately
