What you need:
Sweet potato: 3 nos
Sugar: 500 gms
Ghee and oil to fry
Corn flour (optional)
Cooking instructions:
Steam cook the sweet potato for about five minutes. Peel off the skin, smash it and make it into small-size balls. Once this is done, keep it aside. Meanwhile, mix the sugar in water and make a syrup of sorts. Heat oil in a pan, and deep-fry the sweet potato balls that you’ve kept aside. Now, put them in sugar syrup and allow it to soak for atleast thirty minutes. Your sweet potato jamun is now ready and can be served to guests either hot or cold.
