True to its name Eatworld - the eatery in the busy Dharam Karan Road in Ameerpet is a world full of eats. Its owner Dharam Chand Pipara, a native of Rajasthan established it 10 years ago and for all the foodies residing in and around the vicinity, it is a popular destination.

Walk in and a world of sweets and savouries awaits you. Samosa is one of the specialities here.

“The samosa is different from the samosas you get in the city. The masala with alu make all the difference,” says Dharam Chand Pipara. Move over and fluffy, crisp and hot kachoris stare at you from the trays. One can choose from two varieties in kachori, made with onions (Rs. 12) and dal (Rs. 18).

Monsoon is the best time to dig into chaat including the usual suspects ragada chat, pav bhaji, pani puri, and chole bhatura among others.

Dharam chand shows us a packet of pav. “The pav is so soft though we don’t put yeast to make it soft,” he smiles. Don’t expect ubiquitous tiffins like idli and dosa here, the place has north Indian fare like roti subji, puri subji and a host of parathas including alu, methi and puran poli paratha and also pizzas. If you drop in during lunch hour, you can also try their north Indian thali (Rs. 55).

“People love to eat our rotis as they are made with wheat and not maida,” says Dharam Chand with pride and adds, “Youngsters come from different places to eat here. We had a feedback book which was filled with their comments.” The eatery also regularly supplies to companies.

Get ready to drool as the sweet section is filled with goodies. There is khova kaju, moti choor ka laddu and pastries. One can also dig into pure ghee kesar pista biscuits and nan khatai. The eatery doesn’t offer dishes using egg; even their pastries are eggless.

Now comes the tasty part. Delicious mirchi bajjis (Rs. 12 each) make for an ideal snack to enjoy on a rainy day. And, if you still feel greedy to eat, treat yourself to a plate of yummy hot jilebis.
